To celebrate this mid-way point, Mandela LATES have been launched to give London office workers the opportunity to see the exhibition after normal closing hours and enjoy a number of exclusive food and drink offers from venues within the Leake Street Arches community.
Mandela LATES will run every Wednesday from 6pm to 9pm with tickets costing just £10.
This touring exhibition, created in partnership with Mandela’s family, reveals his epic story in a series of experiential zones. It takes visitors on Mandela’s life journey, from his little known beginnings in rural Mvezo, Transkei, through decades of turbulent struggle against the apartheid regime, to his eventual vindication and final years as South Africa’s first black president, ‘Father of South Africa’, and a globally loved and respected figure.
Having toured the exhibition, visitors can then head to Mamuska! to enjoy 25% off main courses or to the bar at 26 Leake Street for a burger and beer deal for £10. Visitors can also show their Mandela LATES ticket at Banh Bao Brothers to enjoy a 2 for 1 cocktail deal.
With Leake Street Arches home to the famous Leake Street graffiti tunnel, London’s longest legal graffiti wall, buying a Mandela LATES ticket means visitors will also be able to watch graffiti artists at work late into the evening and enjoy the ever changing street art adorning the walls.
